Microsoft word sometimes allows you to see a preview of how a command would look if applied to your document, before you actually choose that command.
To see this in action, first select a section in your document you want to apply a command to, as seen in the diagram, below.
When I carried the pointer of my mouse over the Title command in the Styles Group on the Ribbon – Word automatically gave me a preview of how the selected text in my document would look if I apply the Title command to the selected text. See Below.
I get a chance to preview it before actually applying it. This would save me from making wrong command choices and prevent me from having to make unnecessary corrections.
