You would need to apply this lesson if you have typed more words in a cell than it can comfortable fit. If you do so without wrapping the text within the cell, here is how it would look: (See the diagram below)
Follow these steps to wrap text within a cell:
1. Select the cell whose text you want to wrap
2. Click the ‘Home’ tab
3. Click ‘Wrap Text’ command
Excel wrapped the words in the cell…causing all the text to fit in the selected cell without overlapping into the cell on the left or right.
