1. Click where you want to put the chart in your document.
2. Click the ‘Insert’ tab, then click the ‘Chart’ button.
3. The ‘Insert Chart’ window appears on your screen with several chart categories to choose from in the column on the left, and the templates on the right column. Choose the chart template you want and click the ‘OK’ button.
4. The Chart appears on the screen with an Excel document of its data opened on the right of it. You can change the data on the chart by changing the data in the Excel file. See the diagram below.
