How to apply bold, italics and underline to the text in your document

 

 

You can make your document stand out more by applying italics, underline and bold commands to it. (See the diagram below)

You will find these commands under the Home tab.

To apply them

First, select the text in your document you want to apply these changes to

Then go to the ‘Font’ Group under the Home tab, you will find the letters: B, I, U

With your text selected, click on any one of these 3 commands and see what happens to the selected text in your document. (See the diagrams below)

 

The B stands for Bold

The I stands for italics

And the U stands for Underline

You can also use the mini toolbar to apply the bold, italics and underline commands.
