How to Adjust the Vertical Alignment in Microsoft Word

1. Click the ‘Page Layout’ tab

2. Click the ‘Page Setup’ Dialog box Launcher

3. The Page Setup Dialog Box will appear on your screen – Click the ‘Layout’ tab. See Diagram below.

Go the area ‘Vertical Alignment’ and Click the down-arrow in the box next to the words ‘Vertical Alignment’ as seen in the diagram below.

In this case we want the paragraph in the document to be vertically centered on the page. You do have 4 options to choose from, though: Top, Center, Justified and Bottom

Click ‘OK’
