1. Click ‘Insert’ tab

2. Click ‘Page Number

A drop-down list of Page Numbering Options appear on the screen – Click on an option

We chose ‘Bottom of Page’ option and ‘Plain Number 2’

3. Word automatically placed numbers at the bottom of each page in the document. Click the ‘Print Layout’ view to continue working on your document. See the diagram below.
