How to Add or Delete a Column

1. I want to add a new column to the right of Column 3 in my diagram below. So I Click the column left of the Column I want to add. In this case, I have to click Column 3.

2. Click the ‘Layout’ tab

3. Click ‘Insert Right’ – See the Diagram below.

4. Word performs your command. See the diagram below. To continue working in your document – Click anywhere outside the new column.

To Delete a Column – See Diagram below

1. Click in the column you want to delete

2. Click the ‘Layout’ tab

3. Click ‘Delete’

4. Click ‘Delete Columns’
